At PSC, we take pride in offering traditional, egalitarian services, with davening conducted almost entirely in Hebrew—all with a high level of congregational engagement. Our community prayer is warm and inviting because our members actively participate in services, leading and bringing our liturgy to life.
We hold services on Shabbat, holidays throughout the year, and Minyanim on Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings. All services take place in-person at PSC. Services and programs marked with an * are available on our Livestream.

Shabbat
Kabbalat Shabbat (Friday Evenings)
Our Friday evening services feature a full, traditional Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma’ariv. We often celebrate birthdays or special community events at these intimate services as we welcome Shabbat as a community.
Shabbat Morning
Our Shabbat morning service includes full Birkot Ha-shachar, Psukei D’zimra,Shacharit, Torah service, and Musaf. These services feel accessible and vibrant because so many congregants lead different parts of the davening alongside our clergy. Each week, different congregants lead Shacharit, read Torah and Haftarah, lead Musaf, and even fill in for clergy to give a d’var Torah or lead a discussion on that week’s parsha.
Shabbat Lunch
Following services, the entire community gathers for a full Shabbat luncheon, generously sponsored by different congregants every week. The large kahal that attends Shabbat morning services regularly stays afterward to eat, schmooze, and build lasting relationships.
Shabbat lunches are often graciously sponsored by families commemorating special events.

Children at Shabbat Services: Many of our children prefer to stay in the main service. Kids are always welcome and eagerly await their “bimah moments” to open and close the Ark doors and lead Adon Olam. Uniquely, many of our teens continue coming to services even when they’re not leading tefilah. They just want to be there!
Tuesday Night Minyan
Every Tuesday at 7 pm, PSC members convene for a traditional evening Minyan.
Thursday Morning Minyan
Every Thursday morning at 7 am, PSC members convene for a traditional morning Minyan, including Torah reading. After the Minyan, most participants stay for a light breakfast.
