High Holy Days Ritual

During the High Holy Days, PSC offers traditional, egalitarian services alongside a variety of engaging programs and family offerings to help us meaningfully observe the Days of Awe. 

Our community looks forward to Mincha, Tashlich, and potluck picnic in the park--our annual gathering on the afternoon of the first day of Rosh Hashanah. 

Ne’ilah on Yom Kippur is one of PSC’s most moving and spiritual moments. As the symbolic Gates begin to close, each family has a personal moment at the open Ark in front of the Torah. Even families with young children who may not usually attend late services, make it a priority to return. The service concludes with Havdalah, glow sticks, and the entire congregation linked arm in arm.
