Kesher Teens

Teens play a vital part in our community and have a number of opportunities to be involved in learning, planning teen events, or enriching their skills working with children in the religious school. Listed below are ways teens can get involved at PSC.

Gesher: Gesher (meaning bridge) is a program for our 8th graders that takes a full look at Israel, the American-Israel relationship, our history and culture in connection with Israel and the diaspora. The class is taught primarily by Cantor Doron and meets each Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 pm. If you have any questions or would like to sign up your student, please contact Rabbi Schatz at

Kabbalat Torah: Kabbalat Torah (meaning accepting Torah) is our program for teens, which offers instruction on a variety of Jewish subjects and engaging discussion and debate. The 9th-12th grade class is taught by our clergy and meets every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 pm. For more information or to get involved, contact Rabbi Schatz at
