Shabbat Services for PSC Youth and Families
PSC offers a wealth of educational opportunities for youths. They are fun for both children and their parents:
Held one or two Shabbat mornings of each month.
Tot Shabbat offers monthly services for families with babies through age five.
Main service begins at 9:30. Tot Shabbat service goes from 11:00am-12:00pm and is followed by Kiddush luncheon.
Usually held on the second Shabbat of the month.
PSC Youth Shabbat Service offers children in grades 3-7 the unique opportunity to pray together in a youth led service. During the youth service, children take leadership roles, learning how to lead portions of the Shabbat service with the support of the Cantor/Education Director, Doron Shapira. Children are also involved in several components of the main service. The PSC Youth Shabbat Service is an integral part of the religious school curriculum and religious school students are expected to attend.
